Romaro Britto is a pop artist based out of Miami, Florida. He specializes in a very simplistic design filled with bright vibrant solid colors. The Kindergartners use his work as inspiration to do draw something that they love.

OBJECTIVE/ASSESSMENT OBJECTIVE: Students will: - learn about basic shapes - are introduced to the idea of outline - talk about thin and bold lines - talk about bright and vibrant patterns and colors RUBRICS: Students will be graded by completion. MATERIALS & PROCEDURES 12 x 18 white construction paper pencil king sized sharpie markers crayola thick markers - assorted colors. PROCEDURES: Teach led discussion about Miami Artist Romero Britto and his wonderful Pop Art pieces. Bold lines, patterns, lines, circles, hearts, squiggles, stripes are all pointed out as they come up with there very own thing that they love. A drawing is sketched out with pencils, outlined with king sized bold markers and colored in with assorted colors.
